Playgroup
Playgroup sessions are held weekly for children who are not yet attending our kindergarten program.
Here, parents and carers will find an oasis of nourishment, peace and friendship; a chance to meet like-minded families, to learn new crafts and enjoy warm company.
During playgroup, children listen to stories, nursery rhymes and songs, and participate in activities which remain constant from week to week. In our session the child experiences the richness of folk wisdom and the comforting rhythms of life. We encourage each child to immerse themselves in imaginative, unhurried free play. Celebration of the seasons adds to our enjoyment of the year's rhythm.
Our playgroups are facilitated by a Playgroup Leader, who gently guides each session. Parents/Carers stay with their child for the duration of the 2 hour session.
Note: Our Playgroups are extremely popular and all 2024 sessions are currently full. We are no longer accepting enrolments for 2024.
